A Very Busy Week 38!

What a difference a week can make! A lot of things happened this week, so here we go.

Monday - Fitter arrived and started installing the carcasses in the kitchen. Plumbers also arrived to complete pipework upstairs.

Tuesday - Kitchen fitter still working away downstairs and utility room units were delivered. Flooring team on site to pour floor upstairs, however after they had left I found that they had damaged the hall ceiling, which the builder now has to repair!

Wednesday - Installation of kitchen and utility room now complete ahead of schedule, just awaiting arrival of "Granite Man" to measure up for worktops.

Thursday - low and behold, Granite Man arrived to measure up, and even better he reckons he should be ready to install by Tuesday next week. Builders putting in founds for steps outside.

Friday -  Still work going on outside house. Inside a retired BT engineer (thanks Ian) help me identify all the network cables and installed modules into wall plates. Also phoned NIE and hopefully connection should be during week commencing 26th April.

Saturday - Ian arrived back and finished installing the modules in bedrooms. Massive painting job underway also today. Phase 1 in morning involving Cheryl and myself, Ian even managed to help with the lounge ceiling after finishing his wiring job! Phase 2 in afternoon still Cheryl and I but this time helped by the boys. We managed to at least get one under coat on all downstairs rooms with the lounge receiving two. Stephen has now proved to me that you can paint with a roller in one hand and play games on the Ipod Touch in the other!

Sunday - More painting no doubt!
